PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge pump circuit that reduces time to rise a boost voltage to a target potential, and also reduces cost of power consumption. SOLUTION: The charge pump circuit includes a power supply circuit 80 for a second driver circuit 75. The power supply circuit 80 supplies a voltage (VOUT-¾Vthp101¾) to the second driver circuit 75, and also supplies electric charges from a voltage input terminal 51 to a boost voltage output terminal 52 through a PN junction between the source of a PMOS transistor 100 and an N well in the power supply circuit 80 after an input voltage VIN is applied and before start of pumping.
