<p>A nozzle assembly 10 for an ink jet printhead is provided comprising a nozzle chamber 34 formed in a substrate 16, a nozzle 22 arranged on the substrate 16 to define an opening 24 in fluid communication with the nozzle chamber 34 and so as to be displaceable relative to the substrate 16 for effecting ink ejection through the opening 24 on demand, and an actuator 28 arranged on the substrate 16 so as to be connected to the nozzle 22 and be external to the nozzle chamber 34 for controlling displacement of the nozzle 22.</p> |
