PROCESS FOR PREVENTING FAILURE OF INTESTINAL ANASTOMOSIS

A process for preventing the failure of the intestinal anastomosis comprises transanal intubation of the large intestine with the probe extending behind the anastomosis site. The tourniquet is applied to the large intestine above the anastomosis site at the place where the probe is located. The probe is exteriorized to the anterior abdominal wall and is tightened under the visual control until the obturation of the intestine onto the probe. Upon the formation of the intestinal anastomosis, the tourniquet is released.
