FIELD: oil and gas production. ^ SUBSTANCE: disclosed group of inventions refers to method and installation for logging of wells. The well installation consists of an elongated pipe assembled in well. Also the pipe has an elongated groove formed on its exterior surface along lengthwise axis. A component fits in and is installed in the groove. A protecting element arranged in the groove slides in it to a specified position; also the protecting element covers the installed component. The sliding protecting element and installed component are held in the groove with the structure of the holder with usage of minimal number of tooling. ^ EFFECT: upgraded accuracy of measurement due to decreased influence of faults caused with features of installation of measuring components of sound. ^ 19 cl, 27 dwg
