<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a both-terminals-functional polyolefin useful in various uses. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing both-terminals-functional polyolefin obtained by performing the following process 1, process 2 and process 1 in this order in the presence of an olefin polymerization catalyst containing (A) the Grups 4 to 5 transition metal-containing compound, and then performing the process 3 as necessary and having a 1.0 to 1.5 molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) obtained by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) is provided.
