<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical film which has a visual range expansion effect, a gradation reverse prevention effect, a display image blurring prevention effect, external light reception prevention, anti-glare and a hard coat function simultaneously, an optical film manufacturing method, a polarizing plate, and a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: The optical film 4 has an antiglare scattering layer 1 obtained by dispersing antiglare particles 31 made of a resin material with a mode diameter of 4-12 μm and particles 32 for internal dispersion made of an inorganic oxide with a mode diameter of 1-5 μm and an index of refraction of 1.66-1.80 into a forming material 2 made of a resin material having an acrylate functional group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
