PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method that molds a dimensionally stably and precisely molded product by preventing a core from melting and deforming when injection-molding not only a resin of low injection molding temperature but also a resin of high injection molding temperature, and also to provide a molded product manufactured by the molding method. SOLUTION: The molding method includes the steps of: forming a metal film over the periphery of a core 50 by plating, setting the metal-filmed core 50 in a cavity defined in a mold and performing injection molding; and melting the core 50 away after the injection molding.
