A hermetic motor compressor is provided to reduce an oil containing rate of refrigerant gas which is discharged from a sealing container by refining of oil drops included in the refrigerant gas. A hermetic motor compressor includes a compression unit(2), an electric motor(7), and a sealing container(1). The compression unit discharges refrigerant gas by compressing refrigerant gas into the sealing container. The electric motor operates the compression unit. The sealing container receives the compression device and the electric motor. The electric motor comprises a rotor(7b), a rotating member(7a), a shaft(6), and a balancing weight(16a,16b). The shaft is installed at both sides of the balancing weight. |
