An IPV4 linkage in a wireless IPv6 network using a DSTM(Dual Stack Transition Mechanism) server is provided to use an existing service by employing an IPv4 address under an IPv6 wireless LAN environment, through a DSTM. If a communication request with an IPv6 node is received while a terminal has an IPv6 address only without being assigned with an IPv4 address, communication is performed as follows. An IP address for a domain is demanded to a DNS6 with a domain name of a wireless LAN terminal. If the IP address does not exist in the DNS6, an inquiry is delivered to a DNS4. If the IP address exists, the address is demanded to a deamon of a TEP. The wireless LAN terminal opens a socket of an IPv4 network with the assigned address, and performs end-to-end communication to a routing path of the IPv4 network. |
