MANUFACTURING METHOD OF UNPOLISHED RICE ALEURONE USING RICE BRAN

PURPOSE: A production method of brown rice aleurone is provided to extract vegetable fat only from rice bran, and maintain nutrients inside the rice bran before sterilizing. CONSTITUTION: Sand, dust, and foreign materials are assorted from a rice bran raw material. The rice bran raw material is dried into the water content of 7-8% at 95-100°C. The heated rice bran raw material is molded into pellets in a circular shape with the diameter of 5 mm, and the length of 10 mm. The rice bran raw material pellets are cooled to 35-40°C. Oil and fat are extracted from the cooled pellets are extracted using an oil extractor to obtain brown rice powder. N-hexane contained in the brown rice powder is degassed at 90°C using a 5-stage toaster device, and the brown rice powder is sterilized at 98-103°C before discharging. The discharged brown rice powder is cooled to 30-50°C. The cooled brown rice powder is crushed.
