摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reformer making compatible the securement of a reformable area with the securement of a turbo efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: An exhaust passage 20 comprises: a first main exhaust passage 21 through which the exhaust gas flowing from an engine 5 toward a turbocharger 50 flows; a second main exhaust passage 22 through which the exhaust gas flowing through the turbocharger 50 flows; a first auxiliary exhaust passage 23 which is branched from the first main exhaust passage 21 and through which the exhaust gas flowing from the first main exhaust passage 21 toward a reforming catalyst 42 flows; and a second auxiliary exhaust passage 24 which is branched from the second main exhaust passage 22 and through which the exhaust gas from the second main exhaust passage 22 toward the reforming catalyst 42 flows. A pre-turbo valve 31 is installed in the first auxiliary exhaust passage 23, and a post-turbo valve 32 is installed in the second auxiliary exhaust passage 24. When the temperature of the exhaust gas is low, the pre-turbo valve 31 is closed and the post-turbo valve 32 is opened. When the temperature of the exhaust gas is high, the pre-turbo valve 31 is opened, and the post-turbo valve 32 is closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
