PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material composition that can form an undercoat layer for metal deposition that excels in heat resistance and adhesion even for an unsaturated polyester resin of a difficult-to-attach substrate, and that excels in storage stability. SOLUTION: The undercoat layer is formed by using a coating material composition containing a component (A) that is a compound having one or more vinyl groups in one molecule (except for diallyl phthalate and a diallyl phthalate polymer) and a component (B) that is at least either of diallyl phthalate and a diallyl phthalate polymer.
