Disclosed is a seatbelt buckle with a switch. This switch (40) includes a magnetic detection unit (46) capable of outputting a signal according to the magnitude of a magnetic flux density, a magnet (45) for applying a magnetic field to the magnetic detection unit (46), and a switch plate (26) mounted associatively on an ejector (24), for varying the magnitude of the magnetic flux density for the magnetic detection unit (46) to receive from the magnet (45), in accordance with the position of the ejector (24). With a tongue plate being mounted on the buckle body, at least the switch plate (26) is magnetically shielded by a magnetic disturbance protecting plate (48) so that the influences of the external magnetic field can be suppressed more reliably.
