An on-screen display outputting method capable of changing the size of an OSD outputted through digital television is provided to view the on-screen display by all users capable of freely changing the size of the on-screen display. A data storing unit stores installation information about a basic size of the OSD(304). According to the digital television is the request of user, a broadcasting program is outputted through the display unit(306). The user requests the first OSD output about the corresponding menu through the button of a user selection unit(308). The controller outputs the first OSD corresponding to the base amplitude through the screen of the display unit(310). The controller determines whether the OSD size request is inputted through the user selection unit(312). The controller outputs the second OSD to screen(314). |
