PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain effective information without unnecessary increase in processing loads of map data. SOLUTION: The map data processor 1 comprises a database 21 storing map data 25 having a node 26, and an ECU 22 adding an auxiliary node 28 to the map data 25 under a predetermined condition. In the map data processor 1, the auxiliary node 28 is added to the map data 25 under the predetermined condition. Namely, in addition to arrangement of the node 26 in a change point of road linear shape, a node is added to a setting point of a large facility O with frequency outflow of vehicles as the auxiliary node 28.
