PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic imaging apparatus which does not photograph when a photography is incapable or a state is not appropriate for photography, and photographs images significant for a user only. SOLUTION: The automatic imaging apparatus is provided with: an imaging processing part 130 for automatically performing imaging processing in succession; a determination part 140 for determining which is the case, a photography capable state in which the imaging processing can be performed or a photography incapable state in which the imaging processing cannot be performed; and a control unit 110 for controlling an imaging processing part 130 so that the imaging processing is automatically executed when it is determined by the determination part 140 that it is a photography capable state and controls the imaging processing part 130 so that when it is determined by the determination part 140 that it is a photography incapable state, a non photography state in which the imaging processing is not automatically executed is effected.
