PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating apparatus for taking photograph for improving dimming precision during outside dimming. SOLUTION: The illuminating apparatus (1) for taking photograph includes: a light emitting part (10) for emitting illumination light; a light receiving sensor (30) for detecting light reflected from an object after incident through a light receiving opening (32) out of the illumination light emitted by the light emitting part; and a shading member (41) arranged to be protruded to the object side more than the opening part for shading part of light reaching the opening.
