摘要

To avoid neglecting the update of software, a communication terminal comprises an update section for acquiring and updating the software from a predetermined providing source through a communication network, a barrier monitoring section for monitoring the presence/absence of a barrier inhibiting the software update by the update section, an update recording section for, if the update by the update section is unfinished due to the presence of the barrier, recording the presence of the unfinished update, and an update promoting section for, and an update promoting section for, if the result of the monitoring by the barrier monitoring section changes from the presence of the barrier to the absence of the barrier, promoting the update section to execute the unfinished update whose presence is recorded by the update recording section.
