PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crimp terminal having strong crimping force to a cable core wire of a crimping part, which can surely maintain the crimping force and can be inexpensively manufactured regardless of the direction of external force. SOLUTION: The crimp terminal 1 is formed by rounding a metal plate into a cylindrical shape around the axial line, and includes a contact part 2 connected to the opposite terminal at one end side in the axial direction and a crimping part 3 diametrically crushed after receiving the cable core wire from an opening 3D at the other end side. The crimping part 3 has a connecting part in which one end part in the circumferential direction and the other end part in the circumferential direction are connected mutually when rounded into a cylindrical shape around the axial line. The connecting part includes a slit 3A at one end part in the circumferential direction and a locking piece 3B penetrated into the slit 3A at the other end part in the circumferential direction. The connecting part is formed by bending and deforming the locking piece 3B so as to be brought into contact with the outer peripheral surface of one end part in the circumferential direction after penetrating into the slit 3A.
