摘要	<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device of excellent safety, by controlling stop and restoration operations of a voltage output, even when an abnormal state occurs. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device carries out electrophotographic type image formation, using an electric power source device having a piezoelectric transformer and having a drive frequency generating part for generating a drive frequency for driving the piezoelectric transformer. The electric power source device is provided with: an output voltage setting circuit for receiving a set voltage set as a voltage to be output; an output voltage detecting circuit for detecting an output voltage output from the electric power source device; a control circuit for controlling the drive frequency generating part, based on comparison of the set voltage with the output voltage; an output current detecting circuit for detecting an output current corresponding to the output voltage; and an intermittent protection operation circuit for controlling an operation of a drive frequency generating circuit by switching an output from a time control circuit determined preliminarily, when the output current exceeds a reference value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
