The closer has a function module e.g. housing (21), exhibiting a valve e.g. plug valve, for adjustment of a fluid stream flow from and/or into a piston cylinder unit (25). The valve is arranged in a material block for forming the module at a top side of the module. A valve longitudinal axis (LAv) of the valve is arranged in an angle (alpha) to an axle (AS) of a closer shaft, where the angle ranges between 5-55 degrees. A distance exists between the valve longitudinal axis and a tangent in such a manner that a cylinder wall is strongly formed for arising loads.
