<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning device high in positioning accuracy and unsusceptible to switching noise in a drive circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The positioning device includes: an oscillatory actuator that causes oscillation according to fluctuation in applied voltage and causes a movable member to slip and displace by this oscillation; a drive circuit that applies driving voltage which fluctuates by switching of the circuit to the oscillatory actuator; a displacement output means that outputs a displacement value which varies with displacement of the movable member; a position detecting means that samples the displacement value and outputs a position signal indicating the position of the movable member based on the sampled displacement value; and a controller that controls switching of the drive circuit so as to move the movable member to a set position based on the position signal.
