The vehicle has a combustion engine (1) fastened at a transmission input shaft (12) and an electrical machine provided between the engine and the input shaft. A coupling unit e.g. claw clutch and self switching clutch, is provided between the engine and an electrical machine for separation of the engine from the shaft. An additional electrical machine (2) e.g. starters, is provided for starting the engine, and the coupling unit is configured such that power is guided from the combustion engine into the shaft when rotary speed of the engine is same as rotary speed of the shaft. An independent claim is also included for a method for starting a combustion engine of a hybrid vehicle.
