A lifelike multimedia reproduction system and a method thereof are provided to obtain various types of lifelike effects according to each user, when multimedia is reproduced in lifelike type. A lifelike multimedia generator provides multimedia contents(S502). A device meta data server provides plural device meta data for lifelike reproduction of the multimedia contents(S514). A lifelike multimedia reproduction device downloads the plural device meta data from the server with regard to the multimedia contents. The lifelike multimedia reproduction device applies meta data selected by each user, and reproduces the applied meta data in different lifelike types(S526).
