<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of multicast communication in a network. <P>SOLUTION: A network communication apparatus comprises a plurality of network interfaces, a route setting section for searching upstream interfaces of multicast among a plurality of network interfaces and setting one of upstream interfaces as an active interface, a relaying section which can receive the date of multicast through a plurality of upstream network interfaces and relays only the date of multicast received through an active interface to the downstream side, and a switch setting section for setting other upstream interface as a new active interface at a predetermined timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
