LIGHT-TRANSMITTING RESIN FORMED BODY AND LIGHTING DEVICE WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-transmitting resin formed body for a lighting device which uses polylactic resin (PLA) as a vegetable origin plastic with smaller load on an earth environment and can restrain yellowing of a resin caused by addition of a benzophenone-based ultraviolet ray absorbent.

SOLUTION: The light-transmitting resin formed body 4 is formed from a composition 40 wherein the benzophenone-based ultraviolet ray absorbent 8 covered by a coating material 7 having no carbodiimide structure is dispersed in the PLA 6 including a carbodiimide-based hydrolysis inhibitor 5. Yellowing of the resin can be restrained so that an association of a benzophenone-based ultraviolet ray absorbent 81 and the hydrolysis inhibitor 5 is prevented by coating the surface of the benzophenone-based ultraviolet ray absorbent 81 by the coating material 7.
