PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorption type heat pump and its operation control method capable of improving operation efficiency to genearte cold heat by utilizing an adsorption type refrigerating cycle. SOLUTION: Batch processing alternately switching a desorption-condensation process and an adsorption-evaporation process between adsorption tanks 2a, 2b is performed. A first heat medium of 80°C is supplied from a high-temperature heat medium to a heat exchanger 22a for adsorption/desorption. A second heat medium of 40°C from a radiating portion 4 and a third heat medium of 15°C from a cooling portion 5 are mixed by a mixing valve 15 to prepare the mixed heat medium of 35°C which is supplied to a heat exchanger 22b for adsorption/desorption performing an adsorption process, and a heat exchanger 23a for condensation/evaporation performing a condensation process. The third heat medium from a bypass passage 55 is further allowed to join the mixed heat medium, and the heat medium of which a temperature is further lowered to 25°C is supplied to a heat exchanger 23b for condensation/evaporation performing an evaporation process.
