PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new improved rainwater takeout device which dispenses with periodical maintenance for removing refuse such as leaves of trees and insects, and which stably maintains the efficient takeout of rainwater. SOLUTION: This rainwater takeout device 1 comprises: a connecting tube portion 4 which is provided with an insertion opening 2 provided in an upper portion 4a and undergoing the insertion of an upside downpipe 9, and a connecting portion 3 provided on a bottom portion 4b below the insertion opening 2 and undergoing the connection of a downside downpipe 10; and a rainwater takeout tube portion 6 which is continuously provided in and integrated with the connecting tube portion 4, and the bottom portion 6a of which is provided with a rainwater takeout port portion 5. A flow straightening plate 7, which receives the rainwater flowing down from the upside downpipe 9 and circulates it through the rainwater takeout tube portion 6, is internally provided in the connecting tube portion 4 in such a manner as to be inclined obliquely downward on the side of the rainwater takeout tube portion 6. A drainage plate 8, which is positioned below the flow straightening plate 7 and formed in a meshed pattern in such a manner that the rainwater led in through the flow straightening plate 7 can be discharged to the rainwater takeout port portion 5, is internally provided above the rainwater takeout port portion 5 of the rainwater takeout tube portion 6 in such a manner as to be inclined obliquely downward on the side of the connecting tube portion 4.
