A method for setting up a new network address and providing a mobility support between communications network is provided to supply a continuous IP(Internet Protocol) mobility service without setting a network address in WLAN. A terminal performs a first communications network and authentication by using a terminal ID(S300). The terminal transmits a router searching message for the router search of the first communications network to the control station of the first communications network(S303). The terminal receives the message including the prefix from the control station(S306). The terminal performs the second communications network and authentication by using the terminal ID(S309). The terminal receives the message including prefix from the router of the second communications network(S313).
