The machine has rows of perforations provided in a circumferential face of an individualization drum (2). A fan generates a pressure difference between the interior of the drum and an outer region of the drum such that grains of seed are deposited at the perforations when the drum is guided through a seed material hopper. An end of an outlet line (11) is arranged in an area of a covering device and the rows. The line has a rotating chamfer- like attachment piece (24) in its discharge area (23) and/or end area on its outer circumference such that the piece is convex in its outer surface.
