FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to medicine, in particular to surgery of organs of digestion, and may be used in surgical treatment of peptic ulcer disease and symptomatic gastric duodenal ulcers. Skin incision is performed from xiphoid appendix to umbilical ring. Skin, aponeurotic plate of the white line, transverse fascia and anteperitoneal fat is dissected layer - by - layer leaving uncut abdominal peritoneum. Abdominal peritoneum is separated bluntly from the hemidiaphragm according to its anatomic location in the head direction and dorsally. Esophageal diaphragm aperture is detected. Distal esophageal departments are examined along its entire circumference, determining position and number of rami of the left and right vagus nerves. Therefore a rubber holder is placed around the esophagus. Vagus nerves are exposed pulling the holder. Stem vagotomy is conducted. ^ EFFECT: method decreases traumatism of the stem vagotomy, prevents manipulations in case of adhesive processes in abdominal cavity in recurrent interventions, thus decreasing technical difficulty of the surgery and shortens duration of surgery. ^ 1 dwg, 1 tbl |
