<p>In an SD BT card (100), a UART (112) is included in an SD IO controller (11) to perform communication between this SD IO controller (11) and a Bluetooth controller (12). A control register (112a) of the UART (112) can be directly accessed from a host apparatus (200). This obviates the need to install in the SD IO controller (11) an intelligent function of interpreting and executing commands from the host apparatus (200).
