A display device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to supply an input device which is provided with a display portion including a pixel with an optical sensor and having a display function and an input function, which enables position detection by the optical sensor to be performed accurately. An input device(10) includes a display portion(11), and a scan line driver circuit(12) and a data line driver circuit(13) which are electrically connected to the display portion. Moreover, the input device includes a display control circuit(16) for controlling the scan line driver circuit and the data line driver circuit, a sensor control circuit(17) for controlling a scan line driver circuit(14) for sensors and a data line driver circuit(15) for sensors, an arithmetic circuit(18) for controlling the display control circuit and the sensor control circuit, and a memory circuit(19) for storing various kinds of data. |
