<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory backup device capable of storing fault trace data in a long period of time, and attaining maintenance free without impairing the reliability of fault trace data. <P>SOLUTION: The memory backup device includes: a volatile memory 12 for storing fault trace data; a nonvolatile memory 15 for storing fault trace data stored in the volatile memory 12; and an electric double layer capacitor 13 for backing up the power source of the volatile memory 12. When a control power source is interrupted before the transfer of the fault trace data stored in the volatile memory 12 to the nonvolatile memory 15 is completed, a CPU 11 retransfers the fault trace data stored in the volatile memory 12 to the nonvolatile memory 15 when a control power source is input the next time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
