PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a configuration capable of setting the operation of an automatic wind-noise reducing circuit in conformity with the taste of a cameraman. SOLUTION: In the automatic wind-noise reducing circuit, an HPF response start-time setting section allowing the cameraman to arbitrarily set the starting time of moving to a determined cutoff frequency is combined with an HPF cutoff-frequency setting section 8 uniquely determining an HPF cutoff frequency from a wind-noise level detecting value. In the automatic wind-noise reducing circuit, sound can be collected so that its wind-noise generating level is conformed with the images of various cameramen. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
