PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of suppressing the degrading of printing quality caused when paper is printed while a sheet tray is diagonally installed. SOLUTION: This dye sublimation printer (image forming device) comprises: a sheet tray 30 detachably mounted on a device body 10; a first sheet tray engagement part 31d installed on one outer surface side of the sheet tray 30 and engaged with the first device body engagement part 11c of the device body 10; and a second sheet tray engagement part 31e mounted on the other outer surface side of the sheet tray 30 and engaged with the second device body engagement part 11d of the device body 10. The easiness of the engagement between the first sheet tray engagement part 31d and the first device body engagement part 11c at a first engagement portion 40 is differentiated from the easiness of the engagement between the second sheet tray engagement part 31e and the second device body engagement part 11d at a second engagement portion 41.
