PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize a positional relation between a place photographed in the past and a present place. SOLUTION: This photographing device 1 provided with a GPS sensor 12 and a display screen 14a includes: an image information storage part 11 for storing a photographic image 11a and a position 11b detected when photographing this image in association with each other; an input accepting part 15 for accepting the selection of a photographic image; a relative distance calculation part 10a for calculating a distance between a position detected at the time of accepting selection and a position associated with the selected photographic image; a relative direction calculation part 10e for calculating a direction of the position associated with the selected photographic image to the position detected at the time of accepting selection; and a display control part 14 for displaying information showing the calculated distance and information showing the direction on the display screen 14a.
