PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass-melting furnace capable of stably performing glass melting operation without depositing gall in a flue. SOLUTION: The glass-melting furnace 11 is provided with a glass melting chamber 1 and the flue 20 for discharging waste gas G produced in the glass melting chamber 1. The flue 20 is provided with horizontal flue parts 3, 3' extending from the glass melting chamber 1 in the horizontal direction and vertical flue parts 4, 4' extending from respective horizontal flue parts 3, 3' in the vertical direction. The horizontal flue part 3' has a gall recovering duct 5 branched from the horizontal flue part 3' and extending downward and the bottom surfaces of the horizontal flue parts 3, 3' are inclined downward at inclined anglesθ1,θ2 toward the gall recovering duct 5.
