<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker having high heating efficiency regardless of the material of a heating cookware. <P>SOLUTION: The ribbon heater 42 of a plate-shape heating body 22 generates heat by flowing current. A heating cookware such as a pan 17 mounted on a top plate 13 is heated directly by the plate-shape heating body 22 generating heat. The ribbon heater 42 wound on an insulating substrate 41 is not in contact with the insulating substrate 41 in large portions except for the heater wound portions 47. Thereby, even if dimension changes occur in the ribbon heater 42 by heat generation of flowing current, there arises no interaction between the insulating substrate 41 and the ribbon heater 42 having different thermal expansion coefficient. That is, even if dimensions of the ribbon heater 42 change due to heat generation, a stress caused in the insulating substrate 41 is reduced. As a result, even when the difference of the thermal expansion coefficient between the insulating substrate 41 and the ribbon heater 42 is large, a damage such as cracks does not occur in the insulating substrate 41 due to heat generation of the ribbon heater 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
