<p>The element has a fuel element base comprising a throttle element (302) spaced apart from inlet and outlet openings in a direction of a central longitudinal axis (A). The throttle element has an impact body (303) e.g. perforated disc, held centrally in a flow duct by bars (401), which extend transversely with respect to the central longitudinal axis. The impact body occupies a part of a cross-sectional area of the flow duct, which is traversed by cooling water during operation and extends through the base. An independent claim is also included for a boiling water reactor comprising reactors in zones.</p> |
