PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a door to be easily opened when power failure, breaking of a wire, system trouble or the like occurs, improve an anti-theft property by not allowing a release operating part to be exposed to the outside, and enable the operation of the release operating part which is not exposed to the outside to be easily carried out from the outside. SOLUTION: A mail box is configured to allow an engaged part 5 at the door 3 side to engage with an engagement part 6 at the box main body 1 side by an electric lock 7 in a state that an opening is closed by the door 3. The release operating part 10 for releasing the engaged part 5 from the engagement part 6 by operating the moveable part 9 of the electric lock 7 besides the release of the electric lock 7 by electric operation is arranged in the box main body 1.
