PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for forming a drive trace that derive the drive trace satisfying a transit time and other driving conditions demanded by a driver. SOLUTION: The system has a first convergent operation part 25 which derives the drive trace by performing a convergent operation to attain first constraining conditions based on a target transit time t<SB>s</SB>and road demarcation lines of a road D, and a drive trace deriving part 26 which derives the drive trace by performing the convergent operation of an evaluation function J3 for giving precedence to prescribed driving conditions in a state of the first constraining conditions being attained. The drive trace is derived by performing the convergent operation of the drive trace so as to satisfy the first constraining conditions set on the basis of the target transit time t<SB>s</SB>and the road demarcation lines of the road D, and by performing the convergent operation of the evaluation function J3 for giving precedence to the prescribed driving conditions while satisfying the first constraining conditions.
