FIELD: individual supplies. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns devices for ignition of ovens, fireplaces, hearths, bonfires, barbecues and other fire sources utilising solid fuel. Ignition device includes basement out of solid fuel material with chamfered cog plates, soaked in composition preventing water absorption. Cog plates are positioned at two sides of device, composition inflamed by friction effect is applied to the ends of cog plates, and lower part of device features transverse and/or lengthwise slot(s) and vertical orifice in the device centre.
