<p>The locking washer handling device fits washers onto studs and is also used in removing washers from studs. The washers in question have an external crown and a conical clamping region formed from clamping tongues. The handling device consists of a fitting bush (1) with a central stud receiver and a pressure surface, between which there is a cavity for the clamping tongues. The endface of the bush has a carrier to engage in recesses in the washer.</p> |
