<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door opening and closing device capable of automatically opening and closing a sliding door main body when moving the sliding door main body slightly in the direction of opening or closing by manual operation and adjusting opening amount of the sliding door main body arbitrarily. <P>SOLUTION: The sliding door main body runs electrically by controlling excitation timing of a coil 4. A controller 7 controls excitation polarity and excitation timing of each coil 4 of a stator block in accordance with a position and direction of running of the sliding door main body. The controller 7 is provided with an assist function for exciting the coil 4 in such a way that the sliding door main body runs in the direction of travel when detecting travel of the sliding door main body in either of directions of opening and closing, an opening function for stopping excitation of the coil 4 when the sliding door main body runs and reaches a fully opened position, and a non-sensing function for inhibiting the assist function for a fixed time from the start of the opening function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
