<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knee airbag device capable of protecting an occupant's lower limbs by deploying an airbag with a favorable characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: An airbag 1 is inflated and deployed opposing an occupant's lower limbs from a case body 21 of an airbag device 2 provided on a panel 5 of a cabin 4. The airbag 1 has a swelling part which is demarcated into a plurality of air chambers. An opposing air chamber 46 on the fore end side opposing knee caps A1 is projected largely to the occupant side from other general air chambers 44, 45, and the thickness dimension is largely deployed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
