PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for generating suitable content by introducing a conversion object from a terminal to a server and converting a format when content to be reproduced in the terminal does not exist in the server in a client-server system for receiving the content from the server. SOLUTION: The presence of content is determined by a content preparation part 201 and a content presence determination part 202. A conversion object request part 204 instructs the terminal 1 to generate a conversion object 400 and the conversion object 400 is transferred to the server 2 by the conversion object preparation part 104 and a transfer part. The conversion object 400 is sorted by a sort part 206 and a priority order management part 207 and contents are successively generated from a content with the highest priority by a converter drive part 208.
