PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance, for example, the potential of a data line which decreases, when a sampling switch operates. SOLUTION: A compensation signal supply circuit (130) supplies a compensation signal (SCi) to a capacitive element (131)over a compensation period (CP). The capacitive element (131) applies a compensation voltage to a data line (6a) to which the capacitive element (131) is electrically connected, according to the supply of the compensation signal (SCi). The compensation voltage is equivalent to a push-down voltage (ΔV) or larger than the push-down voltage (ΔV). According to such a compensation voltage, with the push-down voltage (ΔV), the potential of the data line (6a) of the j-th line is raised at least by the push-down voltage (ΔV).
