<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide devices and methods for treatment of cancer such as a liver cancer, kidney cancer, prostatic cancer, brain tumor and breast cancer, particularly devices and methods for the treatment of the liver cancer. <P>SOLUTION: The invention presents an internal therapeutic product comprising (i) an anti-cancer component selected from one or both of a radionucleotide and a cytotoxic drug and (ii) a silicon component selected from one or more of resorbable silicon, biocompatible silicon, bioactive silicon, porous silicon, polycrystalline silicon, amorphous silicon and bulk crystalline silicon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
