The invention relates to a system for suction gripping of an object (21, 22), the system comprising at least one suction cup (31), designed to stick to a contact surface on the object. According to the invention, the system is characterised in further comprising at least one device for generating a depression by means of an air flow designed to create a depression in the contact surface of the object at least over a part thereof. Advantageously the device for generating depression by means of an air flow is designed to create a sheet of air, preferably with radial symmetry between the contact surface of the object and a throttling surface (34) of the system. |
